The Journey Begins!

Today we met with our builder to make the down payment on our new house and start finalizing plans. This means from here on out, there is no changing our mind without losing money. It's very overwhelming to me. On the other hand, it's also very exciting. I never, in my wildest dreams, thought we would own a new home. Projected move in time is the middle of November, 2005...approximately a year from the time we first moved to Spokane.

Looking at our lot from the north -- facing south. There will be another house in between ours and the one in this picture.

Looking at our lot, straight on...facing west. The trees will be our back yard.

Looking down Elton Lane to the south. Our lot is to the right in this picture. The area in beween the pine trees and the mountains is called Spokane Valley. You can't tell from this picture but you can see the city and at night see the lights.
