We're almost ready to move. Packing is progressing at the apartment and it's only about half as tense as it was moving from Scottsbluff to Spokane. The weather has cooperated...I can't remember a more beautiful autumn. I only wish our families could see it.
What you see in the two pictures below is the front of our home. They still need to add the porch and wrap the two columns. There is also a back porch that needs to be completed. After a few touchups and a pass by the inspector, we should be able to move in after our walk through on Friday. Movers will be coming Saturday morning to pack us up.
So....
Move 'em on,
head 'em up,
Head 'em up,
move 'em out,
Move 'em on,
head 'em out
Rawhide!
Set 'em out,
ride 'em in
Ride 'em in,
let 'em out,
Cut 'em out,
ride 'em in
Rawhide.

Wall Color
The walls in the pictures below look like they are white but, in real life, they are a creamy yellow.

My Kids Are Great
My kids sent a gift certificate for my birthday from REI sporting goods store. Woo hoo! I've wanted to check the store out since seeing it here in Spokane and this gave me a good excuse to do so.
After browsing around and trying on some different things, I settled on this nifty vest. It's great for running in cooler but dry weather...when it's not quite cold enough for a full coat but you want something more than just your shirt. I love the color and the feel of it.
I like using this site for figuring out how to dress for my outdoor runs. You plug in the temperature, the wind conditions and how cool or warm you like to feel when you run and it suggests what to wear. http://www.runnersworld.com/apparel/dress_form.html
